Contracting Management Inc. was founded and incorporated January 22, 1998 with a first contract award of $3,000 for a local grocery retailer. In just 12 short years, CMI has grown to be a full service General Contractor/Construction manager with current contracts in excess of $4,000,000 and annual sales revenue reaching between $8,000,000 and $12,000,000.
Our mission is to provide the private and public sector the highest quality building product at a fair and marketable price. Also, to make a difference in our community, nation, and other nations around the world. Through our profits, this world will be a better place.
Our projects have included new construction and renovations of existing facilities. A large portion of our sales have come from retail facilities, with our leading clients being Aldi Inc. and P & C Foods. Our experience has led us into the restaurant sector with the completion of an Outback Steakhouse, several Dunkin Donuts, Friendly’s Restaurant and Subway.
In the public sector, we have grown tremendously over the last few years due to the changing economic times. During this period, we have completed 2 dining halls and a theater renovation for the State University of New York, a student convenience store, a recreational community center at Ft. Drum, an exterior court house renovation for the County of Onondaga, and justice center renovation for the City of Oneida.
Currently under construction, Contracting Management, Inc. is working on completing two university dormitory renovations, one for the State University of New York and one for Clinton Community College, a renovation for the New York State Thruway Authority, a shower facility renovation for the Office of General Services, a T-Hangar facility for the Village of Potsdam, and an exterior renovation of a 14 unit complex for the Watertown Housing Authority. Contracting Management, Inc. is soon to begin work with our newest client; The New York State Department of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preserve, with the renovation of existing boat launch facility.

As we enter our 13th year in business, Contracting Management Inc.’s goals include targeted growth for NYS public work, U.S. Federal Government, and a continued steady penetration into the private retail marketplace. Our long range goals include an annual sales goal of $18,000,000.
